Hope is one of the influencing variables on the dynamism and vitality of people in society, especially the young generation. When hope is raised in relation to the future builders of society, its importance doubles. We are living in a complex age where people should be helped to solve their life problems with new psychological methods with hope and resilience and increase mental health. The research method is correlational and predictive. The statistical population of this research was 60 students of the Faculty of Physical Education of Tabriz University, who were selected by the available sampling method and they completed Connor–Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC) (2003) and Snyder’s Hope Scale (1991). The data was analyzed with spss software version 26 and with Pearson correlation and regression analysis. The findings showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between resilience and hope (r=0.561). And also, the variables could significantly predict 31.4% of changes in hope. The most predictive role was the contribution of the perception of competence and control subscale. Resilient people look at issues creatively and have complete resources to deal with problems, which gives a person have a higher quality of life and hope. Proving, this claim requires further research on a larger scale and with an intervention design.
